What You Will Do
- Represent Amgenโ€™s Rare Disease products to Primary Care/FP/GP/IM, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Establish Biotech/Infusion product sales, increase appropriate patient referrals to Rheumatology and Nephrology, and manage total territory accounts.
- Collaborate across sales teams to uncover unmet needs in uncontrolled gout patient populations outside Rheumatology/Nephrology.
- Provide account management support within a specific geography in PCP, Podiatry, and Orthopedics focused on patient identification, disease state education, and referrals to local Rheumatologists/Nephrologists.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with 2โ€“3 Specialty Account Managers to identify appropriate referral patients in Podiatry, Primary Care, and Orthopedics near KRYSTEXXA advocates and centers of excellence.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote disease state awareness and product value to target customers.
- Promote identification of appropriate patient types for referral.
- Communicate progress with SAM/ASD; provide timely, accurate territory activity updates.
- Promote KRYSTEXXA within approved labeling in a compliant, fair, and ethical manner.
- Develop customer relationships; understand needs/goals and share internally.
- Meet/exceed corporate sales goals; manage within assigned promotional/operational budgets.
- Adhere to Amgen compliance policies and guidelines.
- Complete all Amgen training classes; complete administrative duties accurately and timely.
- Maximize use of approved resources; collaborate across GBU divisions.
- Attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed; perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelorโ€™s degree and 3 years sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device or hospital sales
- OR Associate degree and 6 years
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years
- Preferred: Buy-and-bill experience; biologic/biotech sales and reimbursement experience; established customer relationships in primary care, podiatry and/or orthopedics; rheumatology and nephrology therapeutic area experience; team environment experience partnering with Commercial Operations; strong organizational/analytical/computer skills; ~30% travel; Microsoft Office proficiency; professional/proactive demeanor; strong interpersonal skills; excellent written/verbal communication skills.
