Responsibilities:
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and perform total territory account management.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA within approved labeling in a compliant, ethical manner.
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
- Build strong customer relationships; understand customer needs/goals and communicate them to internal teams.
- Meet or exceed corporate sales goals.
- Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed by management.
- Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback to sales/business leadership and internal departments on changing environment and results.
- Adhere to company compliance policies and applicable guidelines (including PhRMA code).
- Coordinate with patient services and market access teams; coordinate between accounts and relevant field teams.
- Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budget.
- Maximize use of approved resources to achieve territory/account goals.
- Complete required company training classes and administrative duties; contribute to a high-performance team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Account Manager (Level 4): Bachelor’s + 3 years sales OR Associate + 6 years sales OR High school/GED + 8 years sales (pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales).
- Specialty Account Manager (Level 5): Doctorate + 2 years collective account management/sales/commercial OR Master’s + 6 years OR Bachelor’s + 8 years OR Associate + 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Success in reimbursement navigation, site-of-care education, and/or patient access coordination.
- Experience coordinating with office staff, infusion centers, and patient services.
- Rheumatology and nephrology experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with Tepezza (infused therapies, buy-and-bill, medical benefit) (highly desired).
- Experience engaging administrators (community practices, academic centers, IDNs, hospital systems).
- Matrix collaboration across roles such as Market Access, Patient Services, MSLs, Nurse Educators, TLLs, Field Reimbursement.
- Knowledge of payer policies/reimbursement/managed markets; negotiation of access/formulary pathways (plus/preferred).
- Ability to build relationships, educate on complex disease states, and adapt communication.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated; adaptable in fast-paced/ambiguous environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual communication tools.
- Travel up to ~80% (including occasional overnight/weekend).
