Specialist Product Support Engineer

Role: Specialist Product Support Engineer supporting Industrial Adhesives & Tapes at 3M, leading technical product support, improvement projects, and cross-functional collaborations to enhance product performance, reliability, and competitiveness. Responsibilities: manage complex product support initiatives, develop expertise in structural and sprayable adhesives, lead or contribute to change management, product design modifications, and lifecycle management; influence technical decisions through data-driven insights and establish global networks across R&D, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in Materials/Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry; 7+ years in product/process engineering or research, with experience supporting adhesive or polymer systems, leading change projects, and troubleshooting physical/chemical properties. Preferred: experience in regulatory-driven change, product risk assessments, and cross-functional leadership. High-Value: adhesive technologies, structural adhesives, sprayable adhesives, product lifecycle management, change management, regulatory compliance, global technical collaboration. Work setup: on-site in Maplewood, MN, requiring at least four days/week on location; up to 10% travel; potential for relocation.
