Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst

Role: Serve as a Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst supporting Amgen’s digital transformation by leading medium-to-large initiatives across departments. Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to identify business needs, translating them into system requirements and process analyses, managing project scope and timelines, and overseeing solution implementation, validation, and adoption. Key focus areas involve automating processes, enhancing data quality, developing dashboards and analytics, and supporting AI/ML initiatives with responsible AI principles. The role ensures compliance with GxP, cybersecurity, and other regulatory standards while fostering continuous improvement. Qualifications: Doctorate, Master’s with 2+ years, Bachelor’s with 4+ years, or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields. Preferred skills include experience in business systems analysis, digital automation, data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and familiarity with regulated environments like biotech or pharma. Expertise in GxP, system validation, data integrity, and project management (Agile preferred) is valued. High-value specifics involve supporting AI/ML technologies, working in a regulated biotech setting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams globally. Soft skills include stakeholder management, communication, self-motivation, and the ability to handle multiple priorities virtually. Work setup may be hybrid or remote, with international cross-team collaboration.
