Role: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist supporting compliance and performance at the West Point biopharmaceutical manufacturing site. Responsibilities: conduct hazard assessments, environmental regulatory analyses, incident investigations, and develop EHS procedures and training; ensure conformance to regulations; support incident investigations, audits, and permit applications; lead EHS committees and initiatives; facilitate corrective actions. Requirements: Bachelorβs Degree, preferably in Safety or Environmental field; 3-5 years of applied EHS experience; proficiency in environmental compliance, occupational health, process safety, and incident investigations; basic project management and budgeting skills. Preferred: professional certifications like CSP or CIH; prior support of biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical R&D facilities. High-Value: supporting a biopharma manufacturing site, involving compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations, with a focus on process safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental management in a regulated manufacturing environment. Collaboration: partner with operations teams and support EHS committees. Work Setup: hybrid onsite at West Point, with 10% travel.
