Role Summary
Executes the delivery of Employee Relations (ER) services to provide a single point of contact for efficiently delivering expert ER support across multiple businesses and countries. Ensures compliance with applicable country laws, regulations, policies, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Provides expert consultative and problem solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices, performance management, and other ER areas. Ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices. Assists OEC and Security with investigations related to employee relations issues.
- Effectively and accurately maintains confidential ER data in both systems and paper files.
- Ensures professional service is provided at all times in accordance with the departmental expectations.
- Executes elements of a defined project.
Qualifications
- Independently resolves policy/practice, performance management, attendance and work environment cases as well as additionally complex cases as with guidance from manager.
- Understands customerβs business and ER requirements.
- Proactively brings forward solutions to address business requirements.
- Meets defined ER service level agreement.
- When a problem has been identified, seeks help of others to resolve the issue. Completes project tasks within time and budget as directed as decisions and actions could cause minor impact to the organization.
- Knowledge of HR regulations and laws. Minimum Skills Required.
- Effective verbal and written business communication skills. Effective time management with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Decision Making and Influencing skills. Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
- Preferred Experience. Previous Employee Relations (ER) work experience.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Employee Relations or related field and/or equivalent experience. 2+ years prior HR Experience required. Some business experience preferred.
