Purpose
The HR Specialist supports one of the Business HR teams by working with the business to contribute insight on people implications and operational activities. Coordinates support from other Business HR members and relevant centers as needed. Provides advice and interpretation of HR issues to managers and employees and works with managers and employees to resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Completes HR projects requiring coordination, internal benchmarking, data gathering, and analysis; proposes project plans, milestones, outcomes, and success measures (e.g., annual goal cycle, annual compensation cycle, talent management reviews).
- Maintains communication with employees at all levels, identifies trends, and provides Business HR with significant developments.
- Presents sensitive data to individuals and groups and persuades others to take action based on insights.
- Acts as a super user/system expert for HR process tools (e.g., RPT, Workday, Employee Survey, talent management tools).
- Partners with Business HR on performance management activities (talent reviews, year-end calibration, goal setting) by standardizing communications, ensuring timelines, validating data, and identifying trends.
- Coordinates timely solutions for business partners; communicates proactively to address HR process/initiative questions.
- Manages onboarding processes and activities for new hires in International HQ.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree; strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- 0β2 years Human Resources experience.
- Moderate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of business and HR principles/practices gained through multiple HR business cycles.
- Understanding of HR regulations and policies affecting the business.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
