Sourcing Manager - Direct Materials

Role: Lead strategic sourcing within Bio-Techne's procurement function to drive value, standardization, and process improvements across the organization. Responsibilities: build relationships with business units and suppliers, develop category strategies, manage end-to-end sourcing projects, and support procurement transformation initiatives; analyze spend data and KPIs; negotiate complex contracts; promote best practices and technology adoption. Requirements: Master’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field; 8+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement; extensive negotiation skills; strong understanding of sourcing processes, spend analysis, contracting, and procurement tools; proven ability to foster supplier relationships and deliver measurable savings; results-driven with excellent stakeholder engagement, analytical, and organizational skills. Preferred: experience in biotech or life sciences industry. High-Value: procurement leadership in a life sciences context, cross-functional collaboration, process standardization, global stakeholder management, and sourcing transformation.
