Solid Organ Transplant Medical Science Liaison (MSL) β Remote, US
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary field-based scientific contact for healthcare providers in Solid Organ Transplant (SOT).
- Communicate clinical and scientific data through compliant scientific exchange and medical education.
- Build and maintain relationships with key thought leaders, physicians, and healthcare organizations in the region.
- Identify medical education gaps and provide solutions for unmet needs.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests using MMRC-approved materials/resources.
- Identify potential clinical research investigators and facilitate Investigator Sponsored Trial proposals.
- Collect and communicate field insights and emerging clinical trends to internal Medical Affairs teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial).
- Participate in scientific congresses/meetings via presentations and posters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, training requirements, and documentation standards.
Qualifications (Basic):
- MD, PharmD, PhD preferred (SOT clinical practice or sciences) or PA/NP/DNP with prior pharmaceutical industry or clinical research experience in solid organ transplantation.
- Knowledge/experience in Solid Organ Transplantation therapeutic area.
- Understanding of local medical practice and clinical decision-making for patient care.
- Ability to interpret and translate scientific data for educational/clinical/research needs.
- Understanding of healthcare systems affecting patient care.
- Understanding of research study design and execution.
- Exemplary communication and presentation; strategic thinking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Travel ~75%; must drive/lift per travel requirements; reside in Northern California territory (includes San Francisco, Seattle, and Utah).
