Software Engineer

Role: Software Engineer - Clinical Software Products, developing and maintaining regulated clinical applications supporting cancer diagnostics at Caris. Responsibilities: design, implement, test, and support features across clinical software, ensuring compliance with FDA and SOX standards; participate in code reviews, requirement refinement, and documentation; automate operational tasks; support production systems and incident response; leverage AI-assisted development tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related, 2+ years in full SDLC within production environments; experience with automated testing, peer code review, and modern development practices; familiarity with AI tooling. Preferred: healthcare/life sciences software background, agile practices, cloud-native development, and knowledge of FDA, CLIA, HIPAA regulations. Work setup: on-site/hybrid in Irving, TX, minimum three days/week, with potential travel and after-hours support.
