Software Application Architect

Role: Senior Software Application Architect responsible for leading technical design and implementation of complex healthcare software solutions. Responsibilities include providing technical thought leadership within agile teams, driving software evolution using modern container, cloud, and serverless Java/Linux frameworks, and managing architecture for web applications, services, and automation projects. The role involves developing prototypes, establishing coding standards, mentoring developers, and ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in software architecture, including 5+ years in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, RESTful web services, version control, build tools, testing frameworks, and SQL/database management. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is essential. Preferred skills include 2+ years in healthcare domain with knowledge of FHIR, HL7, Azure Healthcare, pipelines for healthcare data, NoSQL databases, containerization, serverless architectures, and messaging services like Kafka or SQS.
