Role Summary

Site Procurement Manager at Upper Merion. Lead procurement activities at a U.S. site, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the site has the goods and services needed to operate efficiently. Focus on driving value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet site needs and align with company goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with site teams to understand requirements and provide procurement solutions.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by sourcing responsibly and reducing environmental impact.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Required: 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Required: Experience analyzing data and making informed decisions.
  • Required: Experience using procurement systems and tools.
  • Required: Must be able to work on-site at the designated location 2-3 days per week.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
  • Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of sustainability practices in procurement.
  • Preferred: Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
