Site Operations Manager Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Oversee support services across a multi-site campus (biomanufacturing, research, administrative, warehouse), ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant operations.
- Manage daily logistics, contract service providers, special projects, and campus capacity planning; identify and implement operational improvements and innovative solutions.
- Provide off-hour coverage for site emergencies (e.g., adverse weather and operational disruptions) to ensure rapid response and business continuity.
- Plan and coordinate site logistics across office, laboratory, and manufacturing organizations; support special projects (planning, execution, vendor hosting, documentation, and stakeholder presentations).
- Own the site Security program, including supervision of contracted providers and support for security posture, emergency response plans, and business continuity plans.
- Supervise campus contracted food service provider and ensure local/state/federal licensing and permitting compliance.
- Supervise year-round contracted landscaping, snow removal, and surface treatment services to maintain a safe, professional environment.
- Plan site-based company events and medium-to-large scale executive visits with stakeholders and contracted services.
- Collaborate on strategic campus space planning and deliver proposals for multiple stakeholders and corporate deliverables.
- Partner with engineering and corporate real estate to manage campus property leases, renewals, adjustments, and interactions with property managers.
- Review service contracts and perform financial assessments with the site Finance team to meet fiscal targets.
- Provide outstanding customer service and manage relationships with internal/external collaborators; communicate ideas tactfully in writing and presentations.
- Use problem-solving and analytical skills to meet departmental/site/division targets; advanced/predictive data analytics, database management, and AI are preferred.

Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge/skills to implement site operational programs and evaluate/recommend corrective actions in multi-disciplinary biomanufacturing and/or research environments.
