Site Lean Champion

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the development and execution of Operational Excellence plans based on operational needs and priorities.
- Champion and drive positive culture change and improve operational efficiencies using existing processes.
- Lead and coordinate implementation of Lean 4.0 practices across production, quality, and laboratory areas.
- Facilitate deployment of core Lean systems: Tier Management, Standard Work, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events.
- Coach site leadership and front-line teams to build Lean and problem-solving capabilities.
- Use data and digital tools to analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, and track progress.
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations to improve quality systems and ensure process consistency and compliance.
- Support laboratories in optimizing workflows, reducing errors, and improving turnaround times through Lean and digital methods.
- Work with external consultants and internal stakeholders to implement improvements quickly and sustainably.
- Lead communication, engagement, and recognition to strengthen Lean culture.
- Ensure alignment with the Lean 4.0 global strategy, sharing best practices and lessons learned across sites.
- Comply with safety, environmental, and quality practices and procedures (SOPs and applicable federal/state/local regulations).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in Operational Excellence, Lean Transformation, or Quality Systems improvement in manufacturing/lab environments.
- Demonstrated experience improving quality systems and laboratory operations using Lean methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to use digital tools (dashboards, data analysis software).
- Proven track record delivering measurable results (productivity, quality, engagement) from Lean initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with consultants and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred/Desirable:
- Lean Green Belt certification preferred; Lean Black Belt desirable.
