Position Details
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for Phibro employees at the Teaneck, NJ site, including local support for conference rooms/AV, PC hardware & software, mobile devices, printers, user accessibility, and related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Order, build, configure, and deliver new PCs; install software and end-user customizations.
- Maintain equipment inventory; refresh laptops/desktops per schedule.
- Support AV equipment/services in local conference/meeting rooms.
- Perform move/add/change on office phones and systems.
- Provide hardware/software support (in person or by phone) for workstation hardware, business applications, and productivity software.
- Troubleshoot Windows desktop configuration, networking, and printing.
- Monitor/update ITSM tickets; manage open tickets, update users, escalate per guidelines.
- Document/respond to incidents, system failures, and security breaches.
- Address complaints/escalations and report to manager; meet/exceed SLAs.
- Update Service Desk SOPs with Service Desk Lead.
- Provide “white glove” support for senior management and high-profile customers.
- Dispose of obsolete equipment per company policy and local/state/federal requirements.
- Lead/manage local projects and support Infrastructure & Operations (servers, WAN circuits, routers, hubs/switches).
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years desktop support in a helpdesk/service desk environment.
- 2+ years experience with networks, operating systems, storage platforms, and virtual servers.
- Ticketing system experience (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays and on-call; interface with senior management.
Skills/Tools
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; proficiency with email/phones/cell phones and office equipment.
- Proficient with Adobe Professional and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written/verbal communication, customer service, problem-solving, multitasking.
