Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy to achieve an injury-free, compliant manufacturing environment.
- Partner with site leadership to embed a strong safety culture using effective risk management controls.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, environmental, and emergency management regulations.
- Serve as HSE subject matter expert across site operations.
- Oversee safety support for construction projects and contractor activities.
- Lead inspections, audits, and permit management activities.
- Develop and coach the site HSE team.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in health and safety, engineering, industrial hygiene, or related field.
- Minimum 8 yearsβ experience leading HSE programs in regulated manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proven people leadership and culture-building capability.
- Experience working with regulatory authorities and inspections.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience leading an HSE department at a manufacturing site.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience supporting large construction projects and contractor safety oversight.
