Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site financial planning and reporting across GTx, Aseptic, and LMO platforms; ensure timely delivery of accurate, insightful, actionable financial information.
- Own budgeting and forecasting, including plans and explanations of actual performance vs. targets.
- Maintain early indicators to provide proactive visibility into financial risks, opportunities, and expected outcomes.
- Drive financial performance management via value-added analysis (operating income, FTEs, personnel costs, direct/indirect spend, inventory, and capital investments).
- Develop, validate, and maintain product cost standards; ensure alignment with manufacturing processes, BOM, routing, and overhead; provide standard vs. actual variance analysis.
- Conduct advanced analytics (resource allocation, profitability, benchmarking) to identify improvements and define short- and long-term targets.
- Partner with functional teams to define annual services to TRD and translate into structured cost allocations in service level agreements.
- Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
- Lead, manage, and develop the BPA team.
- Ensure compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM) and Financial Controls Manual (NFCM).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 10β15 years in manufacturing finance (financial planning, product costing, performance management).
- SAP expertise (S/4HANA preferred) and strong financial planning tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management; present clear insights to senior leadership.
Desirable Requirements:
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and AI-driven analytics.
