Responsibilities:
- Determine work-request scope by clarifying originator intent and assigning priority; develop work strategy with Maintenance/Metrology and SMEs.
- Plan all work to ensure equipment availability; ensure work orders define Materials, Labor, Special Tools, Safety Permits, etc.; progress work orders through proper workflow statuses.
- Manage SRs and create work orders related to planned work; plan Asset Management work including EHS permits, coordinated tools (e.g., scaffolding), and Parts/Materials before scheduling.
- Define general strategy (repair/replace), add preliminary procedures when needed, and create work orders in CMMS.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance/metrology/stockroom inventory program; identify/escalate waste in the planning process.
- Perform periodic reviews; plan major/minor site outages to minimize impact to operations.
- Manage workload to available labor and equipment to avoid manufacturing interruptions.
- Collaborate in a matrix with Site Engineering functions (Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Engineering, Reliability, Manufacturing Scheduling).
- Support Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives; sustain stakeholder relationships.
- Support non-conformance investigations, timely CAPA implementation, and compliance with safety/environmental regulations.
- Support NOEs, NTRs, QEs, and audit responses by due dates.
Requirements:
- B.S. in engineering or related discipline (or equivalent) plus knowledge of Maintenance/Metrology/Facility operations.
- 4+ yearsβ experience in Clean Utilities Operations/Maintenance OR Biopharmaceutical Process Equipment Maintenance OR aligning manufacturing and maintenance schedules.
- Vendor contract experience for maintenance/metrology.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, complex environments; strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Collaboration, project management, problem-solving, decision-making.
- Ability to present technical information; frequent cross-level interactions.
- Ability to work across site environments with potential hazardous materials and PPE/Safe Work Practices.
- No direct reports may oversee contingent workers.
