Position Summary
You will lead site engineering, maintenance, and technical teams to keep a manufacturing site safe, compliant, and reliable. Partner with operations, quality, EHS, and supply chain to deliver capital projects and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and maintenance programs to ensure safe, compliant, reliable production.
- Manage capital projects from scope through commissioning; meet budget and schedule targets.
- Oversee preventive/corrective maintenance, spare parts strategy, and equipment reliability programs.
- Ensure engineering systems meet regulatory, quality, EHS requirements, and global engineering standards.
- Drive energy, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and risk.
- Build and develop the engineering team (including contractors) and support cross-functional site priorities.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or related).
- 10+ years relevant engineering/maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years managing technical staff/engineering teams.
- Demonstrated capital project delivery experience (budgeting and governance).
- Maintenance strategies, reliability practices, and equipment lifecycle management experience.
- Experience managing and supporting FDA and EMA inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree; pharmaceutical/biomanufacturing or other highly regulated process industry experience.
- Automation/controls/plant control systems experience.
- Energy management/sustainability/utility optimization track record.
- Project management certification or program delivery experience.
- Stakeholder engagement and change leadership.
Location/Working Model
United States; on-site or hybrid depending on site needs; regular on-site presence expected.
