Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Clinical Development and Site Engagement, support overall participant recruitment and retention. Work with research coordinators, investigators, and study teams to provide participant support, address site concerns, and implement engagement strategies and trial education.
Site Engagement Lead (Clinical)
Share ideas and planning with trial teams to optimize participant recruitment and retention.
Job Responsibilities
- Support design and execution of patient recruitment; collaborate with study teams to identify target population and outreach strategies.
- Develop and implement recruitment and retention study plans.
- Develop and implement educational plans and tools for sites to support protocol execution and participant safety.
- Build and maintain relationships with sites, CROs, and vendors supporting recruitment and retention.
- Partner with advocacy groups and other organizations supporting recruitment and retention.
- Conduct market research on patient needs/barriers and use findings to plan recruitment/retention strategies.
- Create site- and participant-facing documents/materials to support recruitment and/or retention.
Qualifications
- NP-C/PA-C/BSN/Master of Science preferred; minimum 8 years relevant experience (Site, SMO, CRO, and/or Sponsor).
- Dietetics/Nutrition studies; experience in chronic weight management with GLP-1s is a plus.
- Deep understanding of the clinical trial process; ability to develop and implement successful recruitment/retention strategies.
- Strong analytical skills; understands trial metrics and can adjust to goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; patient-centered approach.
- Ability to manage multiple timelines with cross-functional groups.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Travel Required
- Up to 60% per month.
