Site Coordinator

Role: Phlebotomist Site Coordinator responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, and coordination at a lab testing facility. Objectives include ensuring high-quality specimen collection, managing patient flow, and maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards. Responsibilities encompass performing venipuncture/capillary blood draws, monitoring workflow, managing inventory, reporting performance issues, and handling administrative duties including billing and data entry. The role may involve travel to additional sites and requires providing excellent customer service. Qualifications: minimum 2 years as a phlebotomist, high school diploma or GED, and California CPT license; preferred qualifications include an associate degree, over 3 years of experience, and supervisory experience. Skills include knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, workflow management, pediatric sample collection, and strong customer service. Additional standards include flexibility for overtime, passing a color blindness test, and maintaining a clean driving record.
