Role Summary

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team as a Supervisor who will oversee daily shipping operations to ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant movement of materials and finished goods. This role manages a team of shipping associates, coordinates logistics activities, and ensures adherence to company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the shipping team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
  • Plan and prioritize daily shipping and receiving activities to meet operational and customer requirements
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, and other applicable regulations for domestic and international shipments
  • Review and approve shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and customs paperwork
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping issues and optimize logistics
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
  • Collect and receive finished goods with flexible schedule
  • Monitor and maintain shipping supplies and equipment; escalate maintenance needs as required
  • Support audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in shipping processes and team efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Supply Chain operations

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; an associate's degree is preferred
  • Required: 3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred; Cold Chain shipping preferred
  • Required: ASCM certified / CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution) or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Required: 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Required: Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA)
  • Required: Proficiency with ERP systems and shipping software
  • Required: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Required: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
