The Position:
- Lead, coach, and mentor shift process teams to execute production plans to meet quality, customer, and business objectives.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, other providers, and internal stakeholders for success of OFP Site Durham.

Essential Functions:
- Create a safe, productive, engaging workplace.
- Promote adherence to quality objectives, specifications, and requirements.
- Develop employees; provide direction, prioritization, and motivation.
- Manage personnel matters for all shift team members.
- Perform process confirmation of standards; confirm and manage standards.
- Collaborate across shift teams to share, standardize, and continuously improve.
- Support training on procedures and relevant tasks.
- Coordinate and ensure proper In Process Checks and sampling.

Development of People:
- Ensure reporting personnel have IDPs with annual goals/measurements and interim reviews.
- Ensure learning/aspiration plans are in place.
- Manage application and communication of policies, procedures, and β€œNovo Nordisk Way.”

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/industry experience required.
- 5+ years proven leadership experience (or internal candidate: successful completion of NN leadership program such as GROW) required.
- 2+ years Bulk Processing experience (Bulk Production only) preferred.
- 5+ years manufacturing industry experience; FDA regulated preferred.
- Ability to read/write complex product documentation and SOPs (detail-oriented) preferred.
- MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access; PLCs, PAS-X preferred.
- Lean/process improvement or Six Sigma required.
- Systematic problem solving and decision-making required.
- Planning/organizing and priority-setting expertise preferred.
