This role is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of line equipment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions:
- Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing line machines according to product batch records.
- Conduct routine mechanical inspections and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on production and/or line equipment.
- Perform changeovers between different products or formats to minimize downtime.
- Perform track and trace activities as required on packaging equipment.
- Maintain Lockout & Tagout; keep accurate logs and documentation for setups, maintenance, adjustments, and downtime.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of manufacturing and room equipment.
- Assist maintenance staff with special projects/maintenance work; comply with SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Required).
- Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and/or maintenance repair.
Skills:
- Attention to detail.
- Intermediate English reading/writing/communication.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal procedures.
- Reading comprehension and good troubleshooting.
- Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, testers, and material handling equipment.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable): Hourly rate $26.00β$35.00; short-term incentive opportunity within first 12 months; comprehensive health/insurance benefits and 401(k) matching contribution.
