Responsibilities:
- Develop strong, compliant relationships with health care providers across specialties and account types (IDNs, health systems, community clinics)
- Facilitate clinical dialogue to drive appropriate action for patients and engage the full account to identify obstacles
- Create and execute a territory business plan to drive product demand by meeting key partner needs
- Apply knowledge of the broader healthcare landscape and how decisions are made across provider offices and health systems
- Manage territory like a business owner: own results with urgency while staying compliant with policies and regulations
- Deliver compliant product presentations and education using approved resources
- Collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, market access, and others) to support customer needs
- Gather and share customer insights and feedback to improve how providers and patients are served
- Partner on account and territory strategy to maximize access to products and services
- Use customer/market data and multi-channel approaches to drive total selling engagements
- Prioritize customers/accounts using a data-driven approach aligned to strategic plan
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Sales experience in life sciences or healthcare (or related field)
- 5+ years in customer-facing sales (biotech, pharmaceuticals, or medical device)
- Live within the stated territory
- Ability to be in the field 5 days/week with required overnights and complete administrative tasks
- Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory
- Proven winning attitude with growth mindset; strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Coachable; persistent, resilient, agile; strong time management
- Integrity/professionalism and commitment to compliance
- Passion for impacting patients’ lives; ability to communicate clinical product information compliantly
Compensation:
- $120,000–$160,000 base salary; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive (e.g., equity)
