Role Summary
Senior Veterinary Specialist (Dermatology): Field Dermatologist focused on education, disease state assessment, diagnosis, and management of allergic and atopic dermatitis; collaborative role advising field colleagues, leadership, and headquarters on products, services, and pipeline Dermatology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Education & Support: Deliver educational and clinical dermatology presentations; provide science-based product information; tailor content to customer needs; create content to support the Zoetis Dermatology Portfolio.
- Professional Engagement: Build trust with Zoetis colleagues, veterinary teams, KOLs, and corporate partners; speak at conferences and events; establish relationships with dermatologists in practice, academia, and professional organizations; participate in committees or boards as appropriate.
- Business, Marketing & Training Support: Advise on emerging treatment guidelines and protocols; advise marketing on technical/clinical aspects; develop and deliver training for sales and technical colleagues; mentor across business units.
- Zoetis Values and Personal Development: Demonstrate core beliefs and DEI/Sustainability commitments; lead by example; pursue continuous improvement and maintain a development plan.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
- Board certification in dermatology preferred; board eligibility considered.
- 6-8 years of experience in clinical practice, academia, research, or industry (advantage).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel 60-70% of the time, including some weekends.
