Position Summary
- Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), Oncology. Field-based; 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS product indications within territory/region to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients; build/maintain scientific expertise.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (where implemented) for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Lead fair & balanced scientific dialogue: present approved scientific information with medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; use Medical on Call for real-time medical support.
- Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share customer insights; comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility with key customers and positive, differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management skill sets; proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Effective cross-functional work style.

Compensation & Benefits (explicit)
- Field (US): $144,500β$175,100. Additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
