Position Summary
- Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) for Oncology/Hematology (100% time in field with external customers). Territory includes Naples, Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Sarasota, Bradenton, Sun City, Brandon, Tampa, and Sebring.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 insights to dynamically inform call plans and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Deliver fair & balanced scientific dialogue consistent with label; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging approved-indication data.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share customer insights; comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility with HCPs/office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness and can-do attitude.
