Position Summary:
Field-based TAS role (100% time in the field with external customers) responsible for driving demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue aligned to label.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote approved indications within territory/region to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 tools to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct label-consistent scientific dialogue with HCPs; ensure medical accuracy.
- Deliver in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns).
- Organize external speaker programs (select speakers from approved lists; coordinate scheduling/logistics).
- Stay current on emerging data for approved indications.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility with key customers and office staff.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management + selling skills; track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
