Position Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) – Oncology. Field-based role (100% time in the field with external customers) to drive demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients through differentiated scientific customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications within a territory/region to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain high scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE3 (when implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Present approved scientific information consistent with label; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) and maintain expertise on emerging data.
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved lists) including scheduling/logistics.
- Engage real-time medical support via Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve HCP customer experience; share insights internally.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Credibility-building experience with customers/office staff for differentiated customer experience.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management, selling, and proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness and positive can-do attitude.

- Field (US): $144,500–$175,100; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
