Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TA: Psychiatry). Location: Southern IL; Saint Louis, MO/Granite City, IL/Belleville, IL.
Position Summary
- Field-based role (anticipated 100% of time in the field with external customers).
- Drive demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients; deliver differentiated scientific Customer Experience (Cx).
- Build credibility with regional thought leaders and physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications within a territory/region to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand via balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise.
- Develop and execute territory/account plans; use CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.
- Provide fair & balanced scientific dialogue consistent with label; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Engage real-time medical support via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility with customers and account management/selling performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness; positive team mindset.
Preferred
- Neurology experience.
