Position Summary
- Drive demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines for appropriate patients in Psychiatry as a field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist.
- Provide differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue; build credibility with regional thought leaders and HCPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly; articulate clinical/scientific rationale; maintain and grow scientific expertise; prepare territory/account plans; use CE^3 to inform call planning and share feedback.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Present approved scientific resources with medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; use Medical on Call for real-time medical questions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other field teams; share internal insights; comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately to physicians.
- Proven credibility-building with customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in Neurology preferred.
- Strong account management, selling/promotional skills, and proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Effective cross-functional teamwork; integrity and good judgment.
