Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (Therapeutic Area: Psychiatry)

Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within the assigned portfolio for appropriate patients.
- Engage Health Care Providers (HCPs) with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs), community-based physicians/HCPs, and other stakeholders as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business results and performance objectives.
- Field-based role; anticipated 100% of time in the field with external customers.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present approved scientific information/resources accurately and ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) consistent with label.
- Organize external speaker programs (selecting speakers, scheduling, logistics).
- Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engage real-time medical support via Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams to ensure best HCP Customer Experience (Cx).
- Share internal insights/information with appropriate stakeholders.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly.
- Demonstrated credibility-building experience with key customers/office staff via customer-centric mindset and differentiated Cx.
- Experience in Neurology preferred.
- Demonstrated account management capability, selling competencies, and sales performance track record.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong selling and promotional skills with a track record of performance.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (United States): US $139,230 - $168,714; additional incentive cash/stock opportunities may be available.
