Title: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (Neuroscience - Cobenfy)
Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within the portfolio for appropriate patients by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs; act as primary point of contact.
- Field-based role; expected to spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within assigned territory to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement territory and account plans.
- Use tools such as CE^3 to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present approved scientific resources/publications accurately and in a medically compliant manner.
- Conduct in-office presentations and discuss label-consistent product science.
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved) including logistics.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams to optimize HCP Customer Experience (Cx).
- Share insights internally with appropriate stakeholders.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers and stakeholders; customer-centric mindset.
- Neurology experience preferred.
- Strong account management and sales performance (meeting/exceeding goals).
- Effective cross-functional work with positive, can-do attitude.
