Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Neuroscience/MS (TAS) – Orlando, FL (Field; 100% field time with external customers)
Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients by delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) via deeper scientific, label-consistent dialogue.
- Build credibility with regional thought leaders and HCPs; collaborate cross-functionally to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio promotion: promote approved indications to meet/exceed compliant sales targets; create demand with balanced clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (where implemented) for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback to leadership.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: use approved resources/publications accurately; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; engage Medical on Call for unsolicited and complex technical inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with customers and office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Strong account management and selling skills; proven track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional collaboration; integrity and good judgment.
- Neurology experience preferred.
- Qualified Driver requirements due to company-provided vehicle (e.g., 21+ years old, valid license, acceptable driving risk).
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- US $139,230–$168,714 base for FTE; additional incentive cash/stock may be available; medical/dental/vision, wellbeing programs, 401(k), disability and life insurance, PTO (details vary by eligibility).
