Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within a defined territory/region for appropriate patients by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians/HCPs, and other stakeholders as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business results/performance objectives.
- Field-based role: anticipated to spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.

- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications; meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly; create demand via balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans; use CE^3 insights to inform call plans and provide feedback.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources/publications to ensure medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; maintain expertise on emerging data; respond to unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with field teams; share internal insights; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with key customers and customer influence network.
- Account management, selling competencies, and proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with positive team/can-do attitude.
Preferred
- Hematology/Oncology experience.
