Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Hematology - Knoxville, TN/Chattanooga, TN. Field-based TAS focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within hematology/oncology indications, engaging HCPs with scientific dialogue, and delivering a differentiated customer experience in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses CE^3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates fair and balanced scientific dialogue with HCPs using approved resources and publications.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and discusses product-related scientific information consistent with label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs, selecting speakers from approved lists and managing logistics.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge on emerging data for approved indications.
  • Engages real-time medical support as needed to address inquiries.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure best customer experience; gathers and shares insights internally.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to clinicians.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and focus on a differentiated customer experience.
  • Experience in Hematology/Oncology required.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience (as applicable).

Additional Requirements

  • Field-based role requiring 100% time in the field with external customers.
  • Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and driving eligibility as per company policy.
