Position Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a field-based role driving demand for BMS medicines within a defined territory by delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue. Primary point of contact for regional thought leaders and HCPs; liaises with other BMS functions and prioritizes safe, appropriate use of BMS products.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build/maintain scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use tools (e.g., SOPHIA) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Use approved resources/publications accurately; conduct in-office presentations consistent with label.
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau list); support emerging data.
- Use Medical on Call for real-time, unsolicited question/technical inquiry support.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building and account management with customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Track record meeting/exceeding goals; strong cross-functional collaboration.
