Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Palm Bay, FL. Field-based role focusing on promoting BMS medicines within the cardiovascular portfolio, delivering a differentiated Customer Experience to HCPs, and driving demand for appropriate patients.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Engages with and maintains a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Proactively uses tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
  • Experience building credibility with key customers and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.

Skills

  • Customer/commercial mindset; ability to drive business results and tailor engagement along the patient journey.
  • Patient centricity with understanding of the patient journey and experience.
  • Scientific agility with excellent communication and presentation skills; staying current with latest data.
  • Analytical capability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, and HCP preferences; data-driven insights.
  • Digital agility and proficiency with CE^3 and CRM tools; ability to use Medical on Call technology.
  • Teamwork and enterprise mindset with integrity and good judgment.

Education

  • Not specified; advanced scientific degree preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Operation of a company-provided vehicle; requires meeting criteria of Qualified Driver (age 21+, valid state driver's license, acceptable driving risk).
