Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within a defined portfolio for appropriate patients by engaging Health Care Providers (HCPs) through a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) using deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label and leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
- Build and maintain strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions as needed to deliver timely, scientific support; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business results and performance objectives.
- Field-based role with significant time spent externally with customers.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory/region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Create demand by clearly articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Use approved resources/publications to present information to HCPs with medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) consistent with label.
- Organize external speaker programs (select speakers, facilitate scheduling/logistics).
- Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engage real-time medical support via Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.

Cross-functional collaboration
- Proactively collaborate with other field teams to ensure best customer experience for HCPs.
- Gather and share internal insights with appropriate stakeholders.

Compliance
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies governing conduct.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly to support physicians in serving patients.
- Demonstrated experience building/maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and the customer influence network; strong customer-centric mindset to create differentiated Cx.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Demonstrated account management skills, selling competencies, and sales performance track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong selling and promotional skills proven by performance.

Vehicle/Driver Requirements
- Offers contingent upon meeting Qualified Driver requirements (including at least 21 years of age, valid driverโ€™s license in good standing, and acceptable driving risk level).

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Field (U.S.): US $124,090โ€“$150,370 base range.
- Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available (based on eligibility).
