Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in the assigned portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business results/performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: promote approved indications; create demand with balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; implement territory/account plans; use tools (e.g., SOPHIA) for insights/call planning; provide tool feedback.
- Scientific Dialogue: present approved information with medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; engage real-time medical support via Medical on Call.
- Cross-functional collaboration: collaborate with other field teams and share insights internally.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility-building in a customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management and selling competencies with proven performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude; strong selling/promotional skills.
