Responsibilities:
- Promote approved BMS product indications within a defined territory to meet/exceed compliant sales targets.
- Create demand by explaining the clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas; develop and execute territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
- Deliver fair, balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources consistent with label; conduct in-office presentations.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; coordinate external speaker programs.
- Provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights with internal stakeholders.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Qualifications/Experience (Required):
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Track record building credibility with customers and office staff.
- Strong account management and selling competencies; proven performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with positive, can-do mindset.
Preferred:
- 5+ years experience in cardiovascular; cardiovascular experience preferred.
Desired competencies/skills:
- Customer/commercial mindset, business results drive, patient-centricity.
- Analytical ability (HCP/prescribing/market data); segmentation and tailored engagement.
- Digital agility (CE^3/CRM/communications); strong presentation/communication; integrity/judgment.
