Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medicines for appropriate patients via differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community HCPs as primary point of contact; collaborate cross-functionally to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Field-based role; spend much of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications within territory to meet/exceed compliant sales targets; create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans; use tools (e.g., SOPHIA) for insights and dynamic call planning.
- Ensure medical accuracy using approved resources; conduct in-office presentations; organize approved external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Proactively collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately; proven account management and sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated credibility with customers and positive, can-do cross-functional teamwork.
- Strong selling/promotional skills; cardiovascular experience preferred.
Desired Skills/Competencies
- Customer/commercial mindset, patient centricity, scientific agility, analytical and digital agility (CE^3, CRM), enterprise mindset/integrity.
Benefits/Compensation (if eligible)
- Starting base pay range: $124,090–$150,370; additional incentive cash/stock may be available. Health, wellbeing, financial, and paid time off programs described on BMS careers site.
