Senior Technical Operations Engineer – Reagent Manufacturing

Role: Senior Process Engineer in reagent manufacturing at Bio-Techne’s Minneapolis site, focusing on strengthening manufacturing processes for biopharmaceutical and research tools. Responsibilities: lead technical support for current manufacturing processes, evaluate process capability, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements in reagent preparation, liquid handling, mixing, filtration, and formulation. Support equipment selection, process validation, and manufacturing readiness for process and equipment changes. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Facilities, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical gaps and ensure process robustness. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical/biochemical preferred); 3+ years of process engineering experience in pharma, biotech, or diagnostics manufacturing; proficiency in liquid processing, equipment qualification, and process troubleshooting; knowledge of regulated systems preferred. Knowledge/Skills: strong understanding of liquid handling, process scale-up, filtration, bioburden control, root cause analysis, and cross-functional communication.
