Operations
HVAC&R Technician (Industrial HVAC&R / Refrigeration)
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial HVAC&R and process/vaccine equipment to support facility operations and site growth.
- Develop and follow SOPs and preventative maintenance (PM) plans; perform written documentation of activities.
- Manage SAP transactions and change control items (e.g., spare part lists, PM plans).
- Maintain compliant operation of assigned utilities and equipment; oversee maintenance schedule adherence and unplanned calibrations/repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance (e.g., lubrication, filter changes, inspections, diaphragm/gasket replacement) and install/test/repair/calibrate complex automated equipment.
- Interface with Operations, Quality, Automation/Technology, contractors, and other departments; facilitate contractors and follow contract follow-up.
- Support calibrations and testing (automation/validation as required) and improve customer service.
Responsible For Supporting (examples):
- Utility equipment (clean steam generators, WFI generation/distribution, RO skids, stills, compressed gas systems).
- Automated systems (DCS, PLC) and electrical distribution/motor control/generators/ATS/VFDs.
- HVAC/refrigeration (chilled water, glycol, plant steam/condensate), lab equipment and instrument calibrations.
Qualifications / Required:
- HS Diploma/equivalent.
- 5+ years plant maintenance; technical craft skills (instrumentation, electrical, plumbing, advanced mechanical, HVAC and/or multi-stage refrigeration).
- GMP familiarity; ability to read electrical prints, P&IDs, and control loops.
- Proficiency in computers (Microsoft Office/Windows) and CMMS/calibration databases; SAP/ProCal/LabX/Pi exposure.
- PLC capability; available for on-call rotation and weekend overtime.
- EPA 608 certification (or obtain within 30 days).
Preferred:
- Clean room/GMP regulated biopharma experience; SAP and Allen Bradley PLCs/Siemens Apogee/Desigo BAS.

- Rotating days (0600β1830); on-call nights/weekends (rotating days).
