Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:
- Own and advance identity platform (Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, hybrid identity).
- Design, implement, and manage endpoint management (Intune, Autopilot), including app deployment, configuration, automation, and patching.
- Configure and maintain enterprise apps using Entra ID, SAML SSO, and SCIM for secure access.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize Windows servers (security patching, performance tuning).
- Implement security best practices: audits, vulnerability remediation.
- Lead/contribute to complex technical projects; collaborate cross-functionally.
- Identify operational issues, propose solutions, and improve reliability/user experience.
- Manage and resolve advanced incidents/requests; escalate high-complexity issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, standards, procedures, and risk/validation content.
- Research and recommend innovative automated system administration approaches.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure experience (certifications a plus).
- Deep identity/access management knowledge (Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, SSO).
- Proven Intune endpoint management and Autopilot provisioning.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Risk management experience aligned to security/compliance.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, KQL (or similar).
- Experience with Copilot/PowerPlatform or other AI tools for IT workflow automation.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Chicago office; minimum 3 days/week on site.
- Occasional evenings/weekends and periodic overnight travel.
Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary: $112,000–$140,000.
