The Position
Serves as SAP Supply Chain Management Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) subject matter expert (SME) & Super User, site lead and trainer. Acts as Site Area Responsible Super User for SAP EWM.
Essential Functions
- Establish and maintain Site SAP EWM standards, SOPs, and requirements.
- Analyze supply chain data; create transparency via metrics to improve master data quality, transaction timeliness, and adherence to global standards.
- Analyze and optimize logistics workflow processes (production, distribution, communication, inventory).
- Train, support, and coach site on SAP EWM; participate in ARSU meetings/workshops.
- Provide SAP EWM support, guidance, advisory services, specifications, and complex problem solving.
- Lead/assist SAP EWM design and configuration Blueprint workshops.
- Develop, test, and deploy code in test and active SAP environments.
- Develop and deliver user training; test systems/updates/functional changes.
- Prepare reports; establish SAP EWM KPIs; ensure SAP EWM project goals meet timeline/business specs.
- Support SAP Basis tasks (performance monitoring/tuning, test automation) and troubleshoot platform issues.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management (or related) OR Associate’s with 12+ years OR High School with 14+ years (Supply Chain/Production Planning/Manufacturing support).
- Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain/Production Planning/Manufacturing support.
- Minimum 5 years SAP experience: EWM; experience with APO/ECC/BI (or equivalent ERP) preferred.
- SAP Certification a plus; project management skills preferred.
- Preferred: systematic problem solving/process improvement, strong communication/presentation.
- Required: advanced Excel; SAP APO and SAP ECC.
