Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and update Dotmatics project pages per standards/best practices.
- Gather requirements with scientific users; implement approved data structures, metadata, and workflows.
- Continuously improve project pages based on feedback.
- Support scientists as a responsive point of contact; troubleshoot issues and guide standard workflows.
- Communicate system updates and known issues.
- Deliver training/onboarding for standard Dotmatics workflows.
- Create and update user documentation, guides, and FAQs in Confluence.
- Support upgrades, testing, and release coordination; collaborate with IT/platform teams to resolve incidents and implement changes.
- Track requests/issues/enhancements in Jira; maintain accurate ticket updates.
Management Responsibilities
- Provide support to Manager/Supervisor; may supervise entry-level exempt employees.
- Accountable for monthly progress against agreed deadlines/objectives; may assign team objectives and contribute to business-area changes.
- May direct subordinates based on policies; work reviewed for adequacy.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree + 6+ years relevant experience; OR Masterβs + 4+ years; OR PhD + 0+ years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with scientific/research users.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Salary range: $146,540.00β$189,640.00. May include discretionary bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
