Senior Staff Engineer, Modeling and Data Applications

Role: Senior Staff Engineer, Biologics Process Development, focusing on modeling and process optimization for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsibilities: develop mechanistic and AI/ML models of upstream/downstream processes; analyze process sustainability, economics, and multivariate trends; support process characterization and validation activities; evaluate modeling software; collaborate cross-functionally; represent the department on project teams; explore innovative modeling approaches. Requirements: Ph.D. or M.S. in biochemical engineering, biotechnology, data sciences, or related; 3+ years (PhD.) or 10+ years (M.S.) experience in bioprocess modeling; hands-on expertise with modeling tools (gProms, BioSolve, etc.), programming skills (Matlab, Python); familiarity with cGMPs and regulatory standards; strong communication and teamwork skills.
