Senior/Staff AI Scientist, Antibody Design

Role: Senior/Staff AI Scientist focused on advancing protein design models for antibody therapeutics within biopharma. Objectives include developing and deploying AI-driven approaches to identify novel therapeutic targets and generate candidate antibodies in silico. Responsibilities encompass collaboration across AI Research, Computational Biology, and Protein Engineering teams to optimize design pipelines, analyze validation results, and publish impactful research, thereby strengthening Absci’s position as a leader in AI antibody design. Qualifications: PhD or equivalent in Machine Learning, Computational Biology, or related fields; 3+ years research experience at the intersection of ML and protein design; proficiency in Python and PyTorch; experience with AI algorithms for structure prediction and protein engineering; strong communication skills and publication record.
